Today, IACP President Craig T. Steckler addressed the 81st session of the INTERPOL general assembly in Rome, Italy.

It is always an honor to be asked to speak at this event, and President Steckler seized the opportunity. He addressed 170 national police directors and heads of INTERPOL National Central Bureaus (NCBs).

President Steckler discussed the ongoing collaboration with INTERPOL to establish IACP national points of contact in each country with INTERPOL NCB directors. This will give the IACP greater connectivity with each country at the national level, allowing the IACP to share information worldwide.

Also representing the IACP at the general assembly were First Vice President Yousry “Yost” Zakhary, Immediate Past President Walter A. McNeil, Executive Director Bart R. Johnson, and International Policing Division Director Paul Santiago.
