Got an Idea? IACP 2012 Wants You!

It’s not even officially 2012 yet, but the IACP has already started accepting proposals for education sessions at the much anticipated IACP 2012 conference in sunny (and warm!) San Diego, California.

(IACP 2012 is being held September 29-October 3, 2012, at the San Diego Convention Center. The conference website is up and running at http://www.theiacpconference.org. Registration and housing will open online May 9, 2012, so set your Outlook reminders!)

Do you have an idea, a suggestion, or a presentation for the conference?

Before you submit your proposal, consider the following:

Goal: The IACP’s goal is to offer relevant and timely education and training to help attendees do their jobs more effectively and make their agencies more successful. Through this call for proposals, the IACP seeks the very best, the most relevant, and the most thought-provoking ideas in order to deliver content pertinent to the law enforcement profession.

Educational Settings: Educational sessions are conducted in a variety of settings, including track workshops, learning laboratories, poster sessions, and the Innovation Theatre. Please review each educational setting and select the one best suited for your presentation.

Please take the time to review all of the details explaining the educational environment, including the general guidelines.

Submissions are acknowledged automatically, and all persons are notified of the results from the peer review by June 1, 2012.

Submit a Proposal: You can submit proposals online at the conference website. Instructions and submission tips are available here.

Deadline: February 22, 2012
