Workshop Proposals: Two Weeks Left to Try Out for IACP 2014 Orlando!

Every two years, the international community gathers together to experience the Olympics and experience the best talent that the international field of sports has to offer. Well, it’s like that every year at IACP’s annual conferences when it comes to law enforcement, and it’s happening in Orlando, Florida, this year from October 25-28!

Our workshop submittal process is a lot like the Olympic tryouts: people from all types of towns, cities, countries, and governments put forward their best ideas for the opportunity to broadcast their solutions at IACP 2014 for the whole law enforcement community to see. The topics are always incredibly diverse, just like the international community at the Olympics, and all have something to offer!

Just like no two Olympics are the same, neither are two IACP conferences, thanks to the wide variety of topics to keep things fresh and innovative year after year! The last day to get your topic into the tryouts is February 26, 2014, so head over to our Call for Papers website for all the information you need to know!

Being awarded a spot at IACP 2014 is like winning a gold medal for your field of law enforcement. The qualifying round will be when the Education and Training Committee reviews all of the proposals in early April and looks for those that can run the gamut from local to international law enforcement subjects. Who knows – your presentation could provide the training and inspiration that other professionals need to submit their idea for next year’s conference!
