Enhancing Law Enforcement Response to Violence Against Women Training

The IACP National Law Enforcement Leadership Initiative on Violence Against Women, supported by the Department of Justice, Office on Violence Against Women, is pleased to announce the Enhancing Law Enforcement Response to Violence Against Women training event. This FREE event provides an opportunity for law enforcement to increase their understanding of violence against women crimes, develop strategies for responding to and investigating these crimes, and assess department culture and agency needs in order to comprehensively address the crimes of domestic violence, sexual assault, trafficking, and stalking. Information on strangulation, sexual assault investigation and response, predominant aggressor determination and more will be highlighted.

The Enhancing Law Enforcement Response to Violence Against Women training event will be held on January 28-29, 2016 at the West Fargo Police Station in West Fargo, North Dakota.
